If you’ve spent any time talking shop with Jenn, you’ve likely picked up on her passion for well-designed small spaces – and the big impact they can have. She’s been a tiny home enthusiast for years, long before they became cool, with a deep belief in how intentional living can reshape lifestyles and foster community. Her love for small homes goes beyond aesthetics – it’s about building something different.
Having worked within the world of large-scale development, Jenn saw firsthand how the industry often prioritizes scale over substance and profit over planet – while the majority of homes being built across the country continue to follow antiquated designs that no longer reflect the realities of today’s households or buyer needs. With a long-standing appreciation for small and intentional living, she’s continued to support new housing types that offer more flexibility, livability, and attainability.
After more than a decade working alongside real estate agents, Jenn has officially taken the leap: she’s now a Realtor and Licensed Broker in Oregon.
Jenn’s career has always centered around helping people understand what they’re investing in – whether it was a product, a brand, a company, or a place to live. Her 15+ years of sales and marketing experience give her a unique lens in real estate – one that highlights education, storytelling, and connection throughout the buying or building journey.
This next chapter felt like a natural progression. Joining Hiatus in early 2024 brought together years of experience, a love for intentional design, and a shared vision with a growing sector of buyers. Now, in addition to her role as Director of Business Development, Jenn and Hiatus have partnered with Varsity Real Estate – a brokerage here in Bend known for its team spirit, client-first mindset, and deep expertise in both high-end and new construction home sales.
At Hiatus, Jenn plays a key role in helping clients explore and invest in cottage communities and small homes with lasting value. Whether it’s guiding buyers through initial land assessments or helping them as they purchase a home in a Hiatus community, her expanded role allows for a more connected, full-service experience. For national projects and aspiring developers, she offers hands-on sales insights, strategic marketing support, and a network of real estate professionals with local market expertise.
And while she’s happy to help anyone find their perfect fit – whether it’s 450 or 4,500 square feet with an ADU – Jenn’s personal dream looks more like an investment network of small homes scattered across the globe. A life rooted in beautiful spaces, intention, and community.
In her spare time, she fosters rescue dogs, helps run a local mini-donkey ranch, and can often be found on a paddleboard when the weather’s right.
Jenn’s new license adds another layer of insight and agility to the Hiatus team – strengthening our ability to support clients from vision to move-in, and beyond.

If you’re curious about where small-home living is headed – or need someone to help you find the right lot, build, or explore the feasibility of a cottage community on your land – give Jenn a call!
